A COMMUNITY garden is welcoming the arrival of spring with a burst of activity.

The Drying Green in Greenock, managed by RIG Arts, was buzzing in the sunshine, sowing seeds of sweet peas, leeks, and onions.

The team also tended to the garden by weeding, pruning bushes, and distributing homemade compost onto the beds.

Pancake day was celebrated with pancakes supplied by Jill McDougall, leaving participants content and satisfied with their progress.

The hard work also paid off with visible progress made to the Burns Bed.
