Planted this Monterrey oak at the beginning of November last year, I am located in central TX. I have watered regularly and deeply about every 7-10 days the whole time it's been planted but it has been browning and dropping leaves. Entire crown is bare.
Wondering if anyone has any thoughts? It does not appear to be dead, the trunk is still green and alive but there does appear to be bark damage which I've included in the pics.
