What animal could have done this?


Is a chipmunk capable of this? The mound wasn't there this morning, and I saw this when I came home for lunch.

Is there a way to deter whatever animal could be doing this??

    It looks like worm castings. It’s a pretty big pile though, they’re typically half of that I’d say

    Something that burrows and pushed the dirt up, maybe a mole or gopher?

    That’s what worm castings (poop) looks like, but it’s pretty impressive for that much to appear in 24hrs
