We did a complete Reno of our baths and kitchen. Do yourself a huge favor you will forever appreciate put in pull outs in all your cabinets. No more reaching to the back! Under sinks everywhere. In the kitchen I have 2 large pull outs with dividers to slide in baking pans, platters, cutting boards etc. I also had a “pants hanger” pull out Putin to hang table runners and table cloths. Love it

Laura, you should look into a tankless hot water heater. I prefer propane powered but that is because the propane industry has put the bread on my table for the past 50 years.

Douglas is a lot like my at, wants all the lovin, but is a little spicy. Good thing he is not a poly,because my boy is and his swipe got me real good on my hand because his nails don’t retract on his extra digits….

When we had some cabinetry and countertop replaced in our kitchen, the company let us bring door samples and countertop samples home to let us see it in the room we were having it installed in. So helpful!
Laura, stores have bulbs where you can pick your brightness level on the bulbs . I love these because you have a choice after they are installed in the room.
Having just done 2 baths and a kitchen reni, my 2cents. Drawers are the best. Im so thankful for them. Nothing gets lost in the back. Im a light color gal. Soft white in kitchen and custom painted with SW Collanadr in 1 bath. Cambria counters in kitchen, love the look and feel. Quartzite in one bath and leathered granite in another. So many choices! We did matte black pulls/knobs on all cabs. Top Knob have so many choices and nice and heavy too. Good luck, glad u r documenting for us!
Douglas so adorable when he was bending down like what are we praying .. I had a female outdoor cat that had the same fur as Douglas who would swat me just like that something I never thought of when I had her is that maybe there is something wrong with their ears were when you pet it hurts or something .
Where ever you store your stuff be sure to measure them to be sure they will fit!!

Enjoyed the assortment of activities today. It sounds like you might be considering a significant expansion of the footprint of your kitchen. Having done several significant renovations, we are very happy we hired an architect. We thought we had a great design, but an excellent architect can make amazing suggestions, not only in terms of complementing the style and flow of both your interior and exterior space but also kitchen space planning. Love your videos and looking forward to seeing the laundry room/half bath. Thanks for sharing your project.
