I just got into gardening, and since I'm living in an apartment, I have gotten a few houseplants. I bought 5 monstera cuttings off of marketplace a few months ago. I put them in soil, and they all died. I had no idea what I did wrong.
I went to dump the soil, and noticed little roots and stems starting to grow on the part of the plant that was under the soil. I put them back in the soil, and now they are all growing! I am so excited and proud.
I see some of the most beautiful Monsteras here, and I hope one day mine will be as pretty as all of yours. 🩷

Just some advice: your soil might be too dense for monsteras and your pot needs a drainage system, e.g. drainage holes. Otherwise, you risk the soil to be too wet which causes root rot. Maybe that was the reason, while you had some trouble 🙂
