We have a patch of ground that is intended for lawn, seeded with native weeping grass and wallaby grass.
In the meantime, some other "lawn-type" grasses have seeded themselves, and I'm trying to figure out which ones to remove and which to encourage. I don't mind variety, in fact we're quite keen on it, but would like a decently established lawn/meadow area that is short enough for kids and picnics, and also relatively low maintenance and controls the weeds.
There are at least 5 different types in the pictures, any ideas?
