Garden centre forced to close after fire

A garden centre has been forced to close due to a fire.

Aylsham Garden Centre has been left with no electricity following the blaze this morning (February 16).

A spokesman for the garden centre said: “Due to a small fire earlier today, we will unfortunately be closed for the day.

“The incident has knocked out our power, and we are currently working hard to clean up and get everything back up and running safely.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.”

Fire crews from Aylsham and Sprowston were called to the blaze at 6.53am and spent nearly an hour at the garden centre.
