$13 procumbens nana. I didn’t take a before pic but I’m sure we’ve all seen small procumbens at the garden store before. First tree of the year, probably went too hard on the roots and the foliage, but I did similar work last year with two out of three surviving and flushing out healthily.
I still can’t take good photos. The foliage at the top is a lot closer together and proportional than it looks in the photo and I haven’t wired out the secondary trunk mini pads yet, but here’s where we are at my break for today. The pot is reasonably high quality. If anyone has any resources for cheap mass produced pots let me know. I don’t like using my nice pots for cheap material, but good material is so hard to come by at garden centers here.
