Geoje Botanical Garden has introduced a new parrot exhibit inside its Jungle Dome as part of efforts to diversify display content and improve the visitor experience.

The exhibition features lovebirds, peach-faced lovebirds, and cockatiels in a setting designed to complement the dome’s tropical plant environment.

Visitors can observe the birds at relatively close range, allowing them to see their distinctive colors and behaviors within a habitat that reflects their natural surroundings.

By presenting three species with different physical traits and temperaments, the exhibit aims to broaden opportunities for learning about biodiversity.

The display also serves as an educational experience for children and families, offering a chance to better understand ecosystems and animal life alongside the botanical collections.

According to the Geoje Agricultural Technology Center, the addition of birds expands the Jungle Dome beyond plant-focused displays while maintaining careful oversight of animal welfare and viewing conditions.

The botanical garden plans to continue developing seasonal and themed exhibitions centered on the Jungle Dome, with the goal of strengthening its role as a year-round cultural and educational destination for residents and visitors.
