▶ABOUT PLANTED IN THE GARDEN
We are Char and Marv
We are gardeners from Toronto on a mission to inspire others to grow their own food—no matter experience or space available. We completely fell in love with growing a garden not only because we get fresh, homegrown food but we also cultivate a deeper connection to where our food comes. That same joy is then shared with our family, friends and community.
Our gardening journey has allowed us to grow on windowsills, a balcony garden, community gardens, to a thriving backyard garden jungle. When our summer season ends, gardening never stops for us. We found a way to keep on growing indoors, using a garage grow tent, hydroponics, laundry room and even a basement grow room. We just love to experiment and to try new things. We hope to show you that anyone can grow their own food, no matter where you are. Year-round gardening is truly possible, even in Canada or around the world!
We believe in simple, wholehearted living, loving what you do and doing it with love! Thank you for joining along with us on this gardening journey.
We appreciate you taking the time to watch our video. Let’s all grow and eat more plants! ♡

It's really too bad that he can't tell you what kind of vegetables that he's picking because if you see the kind that you like and he says what they are then you can get them for your vegetable garden

The sound of harvesting the peppers are good to my ears ❤😊
Heaven for Bhutanese people. In Bhutan, chilli is a vegetable. Our national dish is literally made of chillies-ema datshi (chilli cheese). We have varieties of ema datshi. Subscribing for the chillies😊 btw, we do consume the air dried chillies & blanched & air dried chillies(white one-shukam) Inside joke: since we import most of the vegetables from India, the vendors want to know how to grow the white chillies😂
This is what the chilli addict garden looks like xD
what will do with this much chillys😢😮
