Getting mixed information about whether Culver’s root needs to be cold/moist stratified or not. Got the seeds from Prairie Moon which says they don’t need stratification, but other credible sources like NRCS says 90 days cold stratify. Anyone have any experience with this one?

I pondered the same question last year. I stratified for about 6 weeks in the fridge, just in case it helped. The seeds started germinating 4 days after sowing (indoor start w/heat mat). Very high germination rate that way.
I have grown them; they do not need stratification. Super easy.
