Hello all. I got married on Friday and this gorgeous orchid stalk was in the centre of the bouquet.
I’ve looked online about propagating orchids but none of the instructions show how to do it with a stalk this large.
I would love to propagate this if possible. I have rooting hormone but am open to purchasing anything else I might need for it to be successful.

Propagating by using an inflorescence doesn’t work for Cymbidiums
Not possible
Aint gonna happen with a flower spike. That is a flowering part of the plant. It wont grow leaves or new plants. That comes from a different part called a pseudobulb.
