About two months ago I took the plunge and chopped a very tall and leggy FLF. with those cuttings, I have been trying to propagate them. they’ve sprouted beautifully in jars of water placed outdoors, but no roots… what’s the deal? can I plant them in soil this way?
incidentally my remaining stem-in-pot is finally showing new growth and I am super excited!
ETA: the stems had no leaves when I cut them off, just bare sticks – something is going right 😉

Are you changing water each 4 days
Sometimes it takes longer (other times, you’d have had roots by now). Those little white nubs are where the roots are gonna come out. Keep them underwater.
I’m not sure how important changing the water is. I never do, but I know not everyone’s water is the same. I see people talking about oxygenation but haven’t noticed that that matters.
