I was struggling with this plant for two years. Constantly getting brown and yellow edges. I’ve moved it to numerous locations in two years, and I never seemed to be happy. I was gonna throw it in the garbage because I began to hate it. Then I decided to cut off all the leaves and let it start over. It seems like all the leaves are coming up with no brown.

I’ve tried that with my ornata and maranta and I personally haven’t had any luck yet. :-(. But I’m realizing we may not be a good match. Only in the spring/ summer.

Good luck! It looks good so far!
I did this with a dieffenbachia I rescued. Every leaf was crispy and browning. So, I cut it all back, except 3 leaves and I’m waiting to see what happens when it grows back. Fingers crossed!

..until they get unhappy with humidity/watering.

How long did take to new leaves to emerge from the soil?

What are you watering it with? These divas are extremely sensitive to water, ideally you want to use rain water or distilled one. I don’t have reliable access to either so I condition the water with an aquarium conditioner and it helped a lot!

You just keep reminding that plant that you’re not afraid to do it again, either! 😂

New growth will become adapted to your environment! Keep steady and consistent 🤞🏾

Did the same with mine. She looks so pretty again, but she hurt my feelings so I’m still not sure if I can trust her…
