So Long, The Garden presents new paintings by Portland-based artist Bianca Youngers. Known for her vivid, layered acrylics, Youngers creates immersive abstract landscapes inspired by imagined gardens and otherworldly environments. Her work merges bold color, intuitive mark-making, and deeply personal process to construct spaces that feel both expansive and intimate.
Built through multiple layers of pigment and gesture, each painting invites sustained looking, revealing embedded marks, text, and shifting forms beneath the surface. In this body of work, the garden becomes an internal landscape—less a place than a state of being—where memory, emotion, and resilience take shape through color and movement.
