A man has spent £7k and three years building a ski resort in his own back garden.
Rassmus Hagberg, 36, purchased the land with his partner in Sweeden.
Rassmus has been skiing for as long as he can remember, and he had a smaller, less polished version of a ski park in his last home.
So, when he moved onto this farm in 2022, he decided to turn it into a ski park for the winter when the animals wouldn’t be using the land as much.
The idea has since snowballed and Rassmuss has spent £7,352 on installing starting ramps, rails and snow machines.

Rassmus, a production manager from Nyköping, Sweden, said: “It’s like a dream come true.
“Finally you can stand there and see all the hard work become reality.
“The feeling of going up in the lift in your own ski slope and then being able to ski as much as you want is completely indescribable.”
Rassmus has been skiing for decades, with early pictures from his childhood showing him already flying down the slopes.
As a result, he’s always dreamed of having his own park, so he can ski to his heart’s content.
So, years before he bought this farmland, he slowly started building elements of a ski park in back gardens.
Rassmus said: “I’ve been skiing for as long as I can remember, but the first picture I have when I’m skiing I’m only three years old.
“The whole process started many years ago when I was little and didn’t have the opportunity to go to ski resorts.
“I got the idea to get my own rail at the back of my house, after that it has developed every year.
“I had a smaller ski slope on the farm we lived on before, so some parts of the big one I have now, I just moved over.”

When Rassmus and his partner bought the farm they live on now roughly three years ago, he ramped up the project.
He said: “I built the ski lift about six years ago so I just moved it from the previous ski slope that I had.
“But this time we have extended it and got a stronger motor, because this slope is 150 meters long and 50 meters wide.
“We have also developed with lights and lots more rails to have more options to ride on.
“In total, I have been working on this project for about 10 years and it has continuously developed into what you see today.
“Now there are about 10 rails, two jumps, some starting ramps, a top cabin, snow cannons and a piste machine.
“So you could say that it has become a complete ski resort.”
Rassmus financed the project with his own income as a full-time production manager and part-time farmer.

He said: “I estimate the cost to be about 100000 SEK (£8,221), but then that is only material cost.
“All the time we have put in – I don’t dare to count but I have received help from a lot of friends.
“We have also tried to re-use and buy things second-hand to keep the cost down.
“The funding comes from my job.
“I not only run a farm in my spare time but also work full time as a production manager.
“I usually say that it’s lucky that a day has 24 hours!”
Rassmus has even gone as far to invite others onto his private slopes, opening up to friends and the public this past winter.
Rassmus said: “Last year was the first time I let outsiders come and ride in the facility.
“This year I have been open to anyone who wants to about 10 times.”
