Hi everyone!
This is my assumed dead magnolia alba tree, AKA a white champaca. It was previously blooming very well and grew taller than I had even expected. I brought it up as a house plant and switched to outdoors once it was nicer weather. However, I left it out during the winter storm and it has since become like this. I brought it inside for a couple of days but now I want to bring it back. What should I do? can it still grow like before or do should I cut some of the branches? Should I water it normally and keep some growlights on? I am based in NYC so the sun and temperature isnt as well suited as more tropical and humid spots.I also didnt really like it growing so tall but how can I revive this plant? I’ve added some pictures of it now and what it looked like before.
TL;DR my plant got fucked by the winter storm but i want to ensure it comes back.
