Water pools right here on my sir walk going to the house. How would you fix it to take water away from the house?

Dig the grass side down a few inches to allow the water to flow off.

The sidewalk has probably sunk down. Have to rinse it up with the form injection or busy out and repour.

Maybe consider adding a trench drain there to prevent the water standing

That grass on the right is acting like a dam. Over time, soil and thatch build up until the lawn sits higher than the concrete, trapping every drop of rain on the walkway because it literally has nowhere to go.

Grab a flat shovel or an edger and shave down the soil level along that right edge. You want the dirt to sit about an inch or two below the concrete lip so gravity can pull that water off into the grass. Also, check that downspout near the tree, if it’s dumping right there, extend it or bury a pipe to get that water past the planting bed.

If you end up needing to reshape the bed or add a trench drain, run the layout through GardenDream first to see how it impacts the look of the entry. Better to verify the drainage route on a screen than guess with a shovel.
