I was sent two different types of pepper seeds by someone. How do I plant them correctly? I don’t wanna make any mistakes. They told me to put them in a wet cotton indoors for about 1 week until they grow roots and then plant them in soil. What do you recommend? I’m in Greece if it helps answer

I haven’t grown peppers from seed myself but from what I’ve seen, paper towel works better than cotton since roots tend to get tangled in cotton fibers and you risk snapping them when separating. Keep them warm, like on top of a fridge. Curious how it goes for you though, Greece climate should be ideal for peppers. But let’s see what others chime in with though
You can just put tem in some pot or one of those seed growing boxes and make sure to keep the humidity high. Make sure it’s in a warm and well lit spot and you should have seedlings in a few weeks.
First of all, do you know the sender or you got them randomly? If you got them from a random sender, maybe alongside another package, please just burn them, its not what they claim to be, they are sending harmful species over.
,,Several states are issuing warnings after residents across the nation have reported receiving unsolicited packages that appear to have originated in China. The packages typically have Chinese characters on the label and contain a sealed packet of unknown seeds that some state agriculture departments say could be invasive plant species.”
