I got gifted a chili plant from my neighbour that move away 3 weeks ago.
We name her Imu, so our chilli plant’s leave have been weird recently. In day time and night time, the leaves looks and feels the same.
The leaves are soggy , but some feels crunchy. It did had alot of chilli for harvest but we waited for a week to let them turn red.
We water the plant every 2 day in the morning, and around 400ml of water split around 3-4 time , every time wait for the water to drip finish from the hole below.
Attached are the photo of the plant now, any help is greatly appreciated, please help me save Imu.

Too much water , and the soil isn’t draining enough. Probably some combination of root rot
First fill up the pot with soil to the rim.
I would water every 3 days for a plant that big but not just add water, use a bigger bucket, let the pot sit in the water for 20 mins then take out and you done. Also, add some fertiliser to thank it for the peppers it offered you. Nice plant!
