It's my first year gardening, and I let all these broccoli create seeds (about 8 plants). I neglected them for a couple of weeks, and now they're overrun. I want the seeds for a sharing program, so is there any way to fix this?
I would cut off some of the more egregious branches. And use a hose to rinse off the rest. Then treat with some spray for aphids. Will probably have to repeat in a week or so.

Seeds will still be fine. You can try eating some of the younger, tender pods. We call them kale beans (the whole family works this way, but they were first eaten off a kale).

It doesn’t really matter that much if you just want the seeds. I’d probably spray with water to help get rid of aphids, but that probably won’t matter that much. You can harvest the seed pods whenever they’re ready.
