Some big changes are happening in the kitchen garden…
In this video, I begin dismantling and removing the old summerhouse to make way for something new. It feels like the start of a fresh chapter in this space, and I’ll be sharing the full transformation over the coming weeks.
Alongside that, I’m pottering through a few winter jobs — tidying the garden, preparing my maincrop seed potatoes for chitting in the greenhouse, and mulching a raised bed ready for spring. And of course, a very special moment… Mr Paddy celebrates his 18th birthday.

Looking at you packing reminds me of moving house….haven't done it for 8years, time to give it another bash I think !! Annie, I haven't been here for a while only because I'm trying to stay off my screen. Your garden looks as wonderful as ever and how exciting to be getting a new summerhouse, but isn't it lovely that your old one has found the perfect new home. I do hope your elbow continues to improve. xx

I Topped up one of my growing beds today. I swear compost gets heavier each year🤷🏼♀️I sowed some cauliflowers indoors. There very very . The peas are just emerging. Plus I planted out a little garlic today. I noticed the robin was following me around the garden. Im upset though as the foxes have made big holes in my soil inside my raised beds 😭😭
