With no load of firewood, on the way, I had to make room and then this happened!

  1. Well you got lucky there! If that had happened while you were getting wood during any kind of weather event, you could have been hurt or worse pinned under it! I suggest moving your ricks to a flatter more stable and closer spot to your house! Stay safe and God bless!

  2. Oh no Kaye! Wood stacking is very precarious not to mention dangerous. Hope you can get some help with recovering that load and I would probably just leave it until you do as you won't need it for a while to heat with. Sending prayers an angel will come to help…

  3. I've had nearly half a cord or wood topple over that I had to restack three times. After the second time it happened, I finally moved the stand I was putting the pieces on, that must not have been on ground that was flat enough, close to a fence. So if it started to fall over, it wouldn't fall all the way.

  4. Hope you can find help; that is a lot of work. I agree leave those logs down the embankment and do it a little at a time.

  5. Oh my! Those loads look heavy. Iโ€™d say you exceeded your exercise points for the day. It is a blessing to be prepared.

  6. Must be nice to just stay home and do prep work for yourself all day. Some of us have to work and support people like you in this economy. You're welcome welcome

  7. It been really hard on me getting my wood in with all the snow and ice. Iโ€™m almost 70 but I really enjoy it when itโ€™s a little easier to get around
