Hey all,
I'm currently building a tall hoop house essentially to be a bug net/ frost cover for my spring season. I've assembled what I've got and I'm worried that it's too tall.
It's 4 hoops made of 1/2" EMT conduit. Each hoop is made of 2 of the 10' sticks of conduit. They're merged in the middle with a piece of specialized fitting made by maker pipe (they make fittings for EMT Conduit builds). There is some conduit going straight down the middle(also held together with the maker pipe fitting) for reinforcement.
I had intentionally planned to build this lower but I thought it would work nicely for tomatoes, cucs at this height. What do you all think? Too tall?
This thing will be reinforced with attachments to the raised bed. I may also string trellis off of it.
Some feed back would be welcome. Thanks
