An investigation is underway after a victim was assaulted and robbed at a home on Hiawatha Drive

The Anishinabek Police Service is looking for a suspect wanted in relation to an assault and robbery that took place in Garden River First Nation.

Shortly after 3 a.m. yesterday, the Anishinabek Police Service received a report of a victim having been assaulted and robbed at a residence in the area of Hiawatha Drive.

The suspect was described as a male wearing all black. He was accompanied by a female who did not actively participate in the robbery. Both fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel and no weapon was seen or indicated.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries related to this incident.

The suspect is 42-year-old Ryan Dale Joseph Souliere of Garden River First Nation.

He is wanted on the following charges:


Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Robbery with Violence
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
