This was a crazy site nestled deep in the woods of the eastern siskiyous. It stretches for a solid half mile up the mountain side shrouded by trees. Some were super strange growing in a sea of mares eggs that colonized the pools that would form. . They have some gorgeous seasonal colors on display can’t wait to revisit this site one day in the future!

Very cool! Do the mares eggs smell funky? Blue green algae are so distinct to me, I can tell when there is even a small amount near by. Especially in aquariums.
