A POPULAR garden centre in Warrington has been named one of the best in the UK.
Bents Garden and Home, on Warrington Road in Glazebury, was one of 10 garden centres in the UK to be named a Garden Centre of Excellence.
This was at the recent GCA Awards, a conference which shines a spotlight on ‘champion of champion’ garden centres.
The Glazebury garden centre was recognised for its ‘outstanding dedication to delivering excellence’.
Not only this, but as previously reported by the Warrington Guardian, Bents scooped the Worrall Cup for it’s impressive marketing campaign for its lights trail.
The cup is one of GCA’s most respected accolades and celebrates creativity, engagement and innovation.
“Winning the Worrall Cup for our Alice in the Hidden Gardens campaign is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the creativity and hard work of our team,” said Matthew Bent, managing director at Bents Garden and Home.
“We’re incredibly proud to bring something so special to our local community and to see it recognised on a national stage.”
