Hey all! I’ve had this PPP for almost a year now and it’s been doing great! Though I noticed that the large pink splotch in the leaf that was fine a few months ago has slowly shifted to this brown? The leaf itself isnt mushy, and it still feels like it’s alive from the texture, I’m just not sure what’s causing this, does this just happen with the variegated parts as they can’t produce chlorophyll? (I can’t seem to find one before it browned but I swear the brown section was as pink as the one below it, and slowly shifted to brown)

Variegated plants have increased light requirements due to having less chlorophyll. If these needs are not met, the plant will senesce the variegated portions to reallocate the resources in that tissue. Increasing light exposure will halt this process. 💚
