I was gifted this cutting about a month ago and have had it in water since. I have a few short roots, but I’m getting a lot of these barnacle looking nodules which in a tomato plant would be something that could turn into a root. Do you think I am OK transplanting this to soil? Thank you in advance for your help, I am really good with house plants but begonias are new to me.

Hmm I would have expected some better roots by now
Maybe cut off a bit and fresh water. I wouldn’t plant it yet
