Two weeks with this hanging basket strawberry planter so far 🍓 I’m still trying to figure out the best way to hang it. We live in an upstairs apartment and I’m a patio gardener, so I need something secure that won’t fly away or fall. Any suggestions are appreciated!

How do you know when it’s time to pick them? Do they look okay so far?

I also have a smaller strawberry plant that needs to go into a bigger pot, and I’m a little stressed because the last time I transplanted one, it died a few days later.

I’m in Zone 9B, and it’s been cloudy all week — the sun only pops out for about 5–10 minutes at a time. 😭

Pick the strawberries when they are fully ripe. Strawberries don’t ripen much after picked. So leave it on the plant until you are ready to eat them.

And you’ll be fine with your transplant. Just treat it for transplant shock like we talked about last week.
