It’s been six months since I added this Alocasia to my filter setup. I missed getting a good day one photo, but the last image in the gallery shows it shortly after it was first planted.
The growth has been steady, but I’m concerned about the root system. Has anyone here managed large Alocasias in a filter long-term? I’m worried the roots will eventually outgrow the filter — not sure what the consequences may be. I’d appreciate any advice on whether I should root prune or move it to a dedicated planter.
