What started as an idea to add a small raised bed to my existing garden quickly evolved into a complete garden renovation. Photo 1: put in a 4×8 bed with my trusty garden companion, and one more 4×8 bed will be replacing that wooden bed on the left. Photo 2: took down a 30ft giant bird of paradise with a tiny hand saw and one metric ton of determination and willpower. Photo 3: put in an 8×2 bed.
I’m a relatively petite (but strong) single mom living in my childhood home again, and so i’m trying to make this space my happy place. This is so much more than a project. Can’t wait to grow here, play with my 5 year old and puppy here, and drink my coffee in the morning with the birds (fire pit and seating to come).
