repot with a ton of !grit included, NOT a bigger pot, and get him more sun. see how he is in the spring/summer before deciding on anything else.

  2. That’s not a thirsty plant, Jades should only be watered when visibly thirsty in the future as over frequent watering easily damages their roots. When the leaves get thin, dull and you can gently squeeze them sideways, they’re ready for a good drink.

Plants aren’t huge fans of moving so I’d wait to repot unless the soil is wet in 2 days. Ideally you’d like your soil fully dry within 3, so if you don’t think it’s getting there, a fresh batch of soil mixed 50/50 with amendments (singular or mixed) like pumice/lava rocks/chicken grit or perlite is a good standard.

It needs better light than it had, so I’d give it a season in a new place to settle and watch the new growth is coming in 1/2 inch or less apart and prune once everything looks good. If repotting, an inch bigger than the main rooball is the usual guide. Having several plants makes that harder but I wouldn’t go larger than it’s current pot. Jade roots are a lot smaller and shallow than the top would suggest.

    Best of luck. Good find.

I’d be inclined to prune in the spring, and then pot up the pruning to make more plants. And the original will be compact and grow a strong set of stems.
