fiddle leaf fig finally branching 🥲

I can’t believe she’s finally branching after 6 years! I’ve tried notching but it never worked. She branched on top when I pruned the top bc it was growing into the ceiling but I could never get her to branch lower. The only thing I can think of is that I removed some damaged bottom leaves over the summer. Maybe that prompted it? 😍
