  1. I feel the same way about calling it a new year comes in the "dead" of winter, as it were. I wonder if you've gotten any pushback on that? The number of people that think I'm strange because I count the first hints of spring as the actual new year is bonkers. I guess a lot of people don't necessarily question convention.

  2. I live in south Louisiana and found 2 asparagus in my garden bed a couple of days ago. So excited for this garden season!

  3. So excited for garden season! Its been super mild up here in the PNW (my fennel overwintered with no protection!) and today is sunny and upper 50's F. I just got a fresh layer of compost on my beds today and next week is direct sowing my greens and carrots!

  4. Jess, the color of that sweater is gonna look great on you! I taught myself to knit a few years ago by watching YouTube, and love it! I’d always been a crocheter, so continental knitting was so much easier for me to pick up. I use the Norwegian purl for purling. 🧢I live in N Georgia and started my cooler weather plants Sunday afternoon! The arugula, thyme, and calendula are already popping up! πŸ₯¬πŸŒΌ

  5. Jessica ,what tubing you have in your tunnel for irrigation ,I think it’s works better on high beds than flat tape I have now
    Thanks!
