So I took on this majesty palm from my friend thinking this would just be a nice room piece till it died since my room stays at a nice 66 degrees with 50-70% humidity dependent on if I remember to refill my humidifier that day. It started off maybe 4 feet in height and had a little pup with em
Now it’s 3 years later, largest frond is about 6 feet. I only shower this beast like once every couple of weeks to get dust off. Other then that water maybe once a week ish when top soil is dry? I have a south and west facing window in my room but this guy is on the east wall pretty far from any outside light so supplemented with a grow light. Wondering if anyone else happened apon a hardy majesty in their plant adventures.
Also, it most definitely isn’t ✨ thriving ✨ I have to constantly cut off browning fronds. Prolly has on average 5-6 full fronds at one time. Also don’t mind the DE, I had small little black shiny bugs crawling around the soil and panic dusted a bunch of my plants

This is 12 years old and thriving near the Arctic 🇨🇦🥶. It gets 2 gallons of water passing in and out of it twice a week 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
