Doesn’t flowering on these types of plants signal the end of its life span? I ask because mine are doing the same OP and a few years ago my coleus produced these pretty little flowers then died a few months later.

Flowering and seeds out of normal flowering time range is your plant’s way of saying it is stressed. They want to procreate and realize something may prevent that in the future, so get it out as soon as possible. Otherwise, it’s just part of the cycle, and behaving normally

Thats just what they do. You can cut back the flower stalk, if you’d like. Otherwise, nothing is wrong with the plant. I used to grow a lot of these outside and butterflies loved them.
