We have landscapers redoing our small back yard. It's coming along, but yesterday I noticed this gargantuan scratch in the fence that wasn't there before, and I'm really hoping it can be fixed.. they had a little tractor and a lot of equipment in here. What are (hopefully they, not us..) going to need to do to fix this? Can just part of the fence be re-stained? Is there an easy way to fix this or will the whole fence need attention now?

It appears to just be surface damage and fortunately the slats aren’t damaged. From the undamaged sections it looks like the fence would benefit from a fresh coat of sealant/stain. That should cover the scratches. You might do a first coat on the scratches then a second coat of the fence.
Looks like it was past ready to be re stained. Restain it and it’ll be okay
The stain is completely gone on the top of those pickets anyway. Suggest restaining the entire fence anyway, for it’s own good and longevity.
That entire fence needs to be restained anyway. Staining your fence every 5 years or so will make it last an extra 10 years. It is cheaper than replacing it and it will look better as well.
As for getting the landscaper to stain the fence for that scratch, I doubt you’d be able to convince them they they caused it, but who knows. Maybe they’d give you a discount on staining the entire fence if they also do that. Pretty easy to do yourself with one of those cheap plastic pesticide sprayers from home depot.
