Black cardinal breakthrough. Don’t give up on props.

I lost a beautiful black cardinal last year.

I didn't think the props were getting anywhere after many months. Today I realised the new shoot (at cutting stage) had completely turned to mush. It came off with no resistance and revealed the healthy new new shoot underneath. 😊 I wasn't really expecting that lovely surprise. Turning to what's left of the original plant, I have a new shoot there too.

So I thought I'd post to say don't give up on your props, and don't throw away any mushy ones until you've checked the growth point underneath.
