A house fire broke out late Wednesday night in the 20400 block of Cherrystone Court off Aspenwood Lane in Montgomery Village.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, firefighters were dispatched around 11:30pm and arrived to find fire conditions in the rear of the home. Officials said the homeowner was able to keep the fire from spreading by using a garden hose before crews arrived.
Multiple engines, trucks, medic units, and command staff responded to the scene, including PE708, PE734, PE729, T734, RS729, and several EMS units. Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control.
No injuries were reported. Damage and the cause of the fire have not yet been released.
