Perrywood in Sudbury has been ranked as the 16th best garden centre in the UK by the Garden Centre Association.
The inspection of the garden centre took place in spring 2025 before the grand opening of their new building.

Perrywood Garden Centre opened the brand new building near Sudbury in October last year.
Since opening, it has proven to be very popular among those living in the town and the surrounding areas.
Due to the popularity, bosses have already had to expand the shop’s car park by an additional 40 spaces.

Perrywood was granted planning permission for the new build last year, and it is hoped it will become a high-class shopping and leisure destination.
The new building features retail space designed to offer a wider selection of plants, gardening essentials, and homeware and giftware items.
Inside the garden centre is a 200-seater coffee shop and restaurant.
In September last year the cafe at the garden centre was named one of the best in the country.
Now moved into its new home the cafe and restaurant offers a wide range of dishes with something for everyone.
Perrywood has submitted an application seeking permission to repurpose a building currently used for storage to support its ongoing operations.
A planning statement explains that the proposed retail use would be “for the sale of pet and/or aquatic products.”
