Combination of factors caused my yard to fail. Some due to me.
Had two large trees causing total shade all day. Didn’t know shade was bad when I moved in here. Didn’t trim trees.
Then acorns from massive oak I have since had removed made it worse.
Then the stump grinding shavings made it even worse. And I didn’t clean up the leaves promptly in the first year.
Anyway, my main question is how long does sod last on the pallet? I was hoping I could do this bit by bit myself but I have read it must me laid immediately, and I’m only one person.
Any thoughts? Thank you.
