A little boy has been reunited with his trike after it was stolen from a garden in Morecambe.
Police had appealed for information on Thursday morning after the theft of the trike, but later said it had been found by a resident and returned with no damage.
“This trike belongs to a disabled child who would love his trike back in one piece and undamaged,” said PC Katie Foster of Morecambe Police in a Facebook post on Thursday morning.
“If anyone sees this trike please can you contact me so this can be reunited with an upset child who is missing his trike.”
PC Foster later posted that the trike had been found by a member of the public and safely reunited with the child.
“Thank you for all who shared our appeal for the missing trike.
“It has been found by a lovely resident and returned with no damage.
“There will be one happy little boy after school today.”
