This hero served our country and now lives on a fixed income. His yard was so overgrown he couldn’t even see his mailbox! 🏠
So I grabbed my equipment and got to work… FOR FREE! 💪
But then the police showed up and said I was “TRESPASSING”!
They put me in HANDCUFFS and wrote me a citation! 🤬
For helping a VETERAN! Can you believe this?!

What people miss in these videos is that cities have strict rules against commercial landscaping work on public easements and right-of-ways. The minute a creator films the job and monetizes it, it stops being “free.” If he gets injured or alters something the city is responsible for, the city is on the hook—legally and financially. On top of that, many cities have union contracts that reserve this work for municipal crews. So the narrative of a generous good Samaritan getting hassled isn’t the full story; he’s being paid, and he’s doing regulated work without the required licensing. But the content creator conveniently forgets to tell us all this, because our outrage generates comments and engagement on the video.

Telling you that that city has exclusive rights to mowing lawns in the city is illegal. A city can't legally do that. Legal action is what you need to do. Call local TV Stations, Radio Stations, Social Media, everything & I'm sure with all that pressure the city will turn over all that civil code & all that garbage. We don't live in Russia. Whar happened after you returned to the same house. I don't see all laws about this. I don't see how.
