Hey there, i got this yucca from my mom before winter and i let it outside till november (its pretty warm here) and put it inside my flat as soon as it went colder.

Now it the leaves are getting brown really fast. I know its normal for the leaves further down to get brown especially because it seems there are new ones coming at the top.

But i am still worried as they are getting brown really fast and also the brown leaves have some kind of black dots ln it?

I killed all the little flies in the soil with a yellow sticky plate and a few match sticks (apparentöy the sulfur kills the eggs).

I only water once every month. Still trying to find the perfect place but i have a lot of light in my flat so this shoulndt be a problem either?

Few weeks ago i also tried to spray the leaves with water as i was worried that the air i the flat is too dry for the plant. I have read that it doesnt like that so i bought a humidifier and placed it in the middle of the room. Dont know if that helps?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Are you checking the soil for moisture down at the bottom of the pot? These guys hate for their roots to remain moist.

Those fungus gnats indicate that your soil is staying moist.

Is it taking a month for the soil to dry out? If so that means the plant is not getting enough light, and needs better draining soil.
