If you like having live floral arrangements in your home but don’t want to spend money on a Florists’ bouquet, attend the Coastal Garden Clubs meeting on Monday, Feb. 16 and learn how to manipulate leaves-to curl, twist of braid like a pro? The program will be taught by members and Master Flower Show Judges Bonnie Giehl and Joan Eccard.
Monthly Club meetings are held September through May on the third Monday 9:30 a.m. at the Shallotte Presbyterian Church, located at 5070 Main St. in Shallotte.
Guests are always welcome to attend. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in floral design, horticulture, home gardening and community service.
