Dumb question, what do you use this for?

  2. Keeping from growing mold is going to be very difficult

I have a large fodder system.. spits out several hundred pounds a day. Evolved through trial and error and youtube/internet deep dives..

Find a way to have your water system not have to feed through a “drip onto the next tray” system. As in, each tray should get its own clean water, not water from another tray. If any upper fodder tray has a bacteria or mold problem, it spreads rapidly through other trays when you are sharing water across the system. I see you are using fresh water each watering.. which is good.. just watch for contam issues..

    Looks great from my view…

Your fodder does not need lights.. if energy use is a thing. You can grow fodder in total darkness.. there is no difference in the average fodder turnaround time with or without lights.. and only a slight variance in plant green-ness..
