I'm new to lawn care and just moved into this home. The grass was in bad shape and overcome with broad leaf weeds, which I had killed over the last few weeks.
I just mowed as low as I could yesterday.
Does the lawn look ready to overseed with tall fescue? I plan to apply starter fertilizer thereafter. I'll use Scott's whirl hand spreader.
Gpt suggests dethatching but I hope I don't have to go there. Could you please advise?
