I have tried pyrethroids with no luck. I am hesitant to spray oil or soap on the leaves. I only have the one violet, so I am no expert on them, but as far as I know their leaves should be kept dry . On another pot plant a may try neem oil or even dish soap, because it looks like an aphid, but how do you treat violets?
I found the culprit plant and it, the violet seems to be the only plants affected. It is currently quarantined.

ETA. The white fluff on the leaves is mostly toilet paper fluff from when I tried to dry the leaves after giving it a shower ( my first attempt at getting rid of them was to blast them with the hand shower).
