Hillier Garden Centre in Weyhill began refurbishing its restaurant on February 9, with plans to reopen the upgraded space in March 2026.
The refurbishment aims to create a more modern and comfortable dining environment.
A spokesman for Hillier said: “The refurbishment will introduce comfortable new seating alongside a stylish new décor and design, creating a more modern and welcoming environment.

“As part of the changes, the restaurant will also unveil a new name at its grand reopening, serving as a thoughtful nod to Hillier’s impressive history and heritage.”
Although the restaurant will remain open during the renovation, it will operate with a limited menu of drinks and cakes.
The upgrades will support faster ordering and improved customer care, areas Hillier already prioritises.
The redesigned space will focus on offering a modern, welcoming atmosphere, with additional improvements such as upgraded toilets, better climate control, and air conditioning.
There will also be a dedicated dog-friendly seating area, making the restaurant more inclusive for all visitors.
Hillier said the investment reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality experiences both inside the garden centre and beyond.
The company encourages customers to sign up for the Hillier Gardening Club to stay updated on the refurbishment and receive exclusive content and offers.
The refurbishment is part of Hillier’s strategy to enhance both retail and hospitality services across its locations.
Plans for further upgrades at additional sites are expected later this year.
